Basement & Crawl Space Repairs in Rochester, NY

Basement Waterproofing By Crawford Basements

Poor air quality could stem from a number of problems including flooded basements, basements with moisture, humidity, and foundation cracks. At Crawford Basements, our goal is to help correct your basement issues and to help provide a healthy living environment. We are a trusted name in basement waterproofing and crawl space repair and have a highly trained crew that can get the job done properly.

Most homeowners convert basements to a play area or a media room where kids and adults hang out. They feel that an occasional musty odor is probably nothing to worry about. However, any foul odor could be a possible moisture problem with the perfect condition for mold and mildew to grow. If the problem is not taken care of immediately, this air will cause allergies and sickness.

Removing any water and moisture from your home is a necessity. That’s why we use Grate Products. Through generations of improvements and evolution, the Grate Products system does what no other system can. It is a complete solution to removing any and all water and moisture from your home.

I've had the pleasure of working with Dave for the past year and it has been nothing but a positive experience for both of us. As a truck driver that brings him materials he has simplified my job for billing and payments. Thank you Dave for giving me the chance to serve you and your company. We're going to the top together.

These are a great group of guys that will always go over the top to exceed your expectations. Dave came over to refinish the walls in my basement and they came out great while he made sure to explain the process and make certain I was informed and educated.

I had David come out to look at some seepage damage to a wall in my basement. Since I am looking to sell my house I was looking for a very expedient simple solution rather than a full remodel. Dave came up with several ideas one of which I had not even thought of that involved very little business for him but a really simple effective solution I could do mostly on my own. I ended up having him do a small job to drill weeper holes after I pulled out a framed wall myself and his price and response was great. From this experience I have a lot of trust in David because the advice he gave me was in my best interest and not in his own best short-term interest. This is very telling about how a guy does business. If I have a remodel done on the basement in my new house I know who I will call for an honest job done right.

Hello. My basement is 660 square feet. I'm looking to finish the basement. I'm mostly concerned with the exposed ceiling. I'd like a quota two quotes on the basement, one for the ceiling and the 2nd for the entire basement. I'm available Sunday-Thursday anytime after 4:30pm or anytime Friday-Saturday. I look forward to speaking with you. Thanks.

Our home was built in 1936, and during the past 5 years we've had increasing wet in our basement
Beth B. on January 28, 2018 10:25:35pm
Our sumpump stopped working for a few hours before my husband discovered it one morning back in March of 2017. We had a few inches of water in the basement. Long story short he dried it out but mold grew under the floor tile and under the sub floor underneath. The sub floor is raised and was hopefully supposed to prevent this. We had Arnold inspector take air samples. We haven't gotten the results but I know they will be positive. Pat took all the floor tile off one side of the basement. On the other side is our son's bedroom!! His girlfriend is living here and suffers from ehlers danlos Syndrome. She also has a compromised immune system. I want the basement safe and as waterproof as possible. My husband is 57 years old, has been out of work for a year and a half with a shoulder injury and has carpal tunnel. He thinks he is going to do all the remodeling himself. I need a second professional opinion who specializes in basement remodeling and an estimate. We live in west irondequoit in the lowest lying area of the flats. Our sumpumps work like crazy in the spring. Our yard was flooded with water last spring. Waterproofing our basement will be a challenge and probably expensive. I'd like to know how expensive and if it can even be done.pat lifted up a piece of the sub floor and it is wet underneath. When would be a good day and time for you to come look at our basement and hopefully give us some advice. I'd like the stairs leading up from the basement be modified so a stair lift can eventually be installed also. Our washer and dryer are in the basement. I'd like a small laundry room separate from Dan's bedroom and his room made bigger. Please let me know when someone can stop by. Thank you, Beth Burke

Although moisture is adequately managed in the main part of our basement by French drains and a sump pump, whenever there is heavy rain or snow melt water collects on the concrete floor of a crawl space under an addition . We would like to get this problem fixed.
