Basement & Crawl Space Repairs in Pittsford, NY

Basement Waterproofing By Crawford Basements

Poor air quality could stem from a number of problems including flooded basements, basements with moisture, humidity, and foundation cracks. At Crawford Basements, our goal is to help correct your basement issues and to help provide a healthy living environment. We are a trusted name in basement waterproofing and crawl space repair and have a highly trained crew that can get the job done properly.

Most homeowners convert basements to a play area or a media room where kids and adults hang out. They feel that an occasional musty odor is probably nothing to worry about. However, any foul odor could be a possible moisture problem with the perfect condition for mold and mildew to grow. If the problem is not taken care of immediately, this air will cause allergies and sickness.

Removing any water and moisture from your home is a necessity. That’s why we use Grate Products. Through generations of improvements and evolution, the Grate Products system does what no other system can. It is a complete solution to removing any and all water and moisture from your home.

We have moisture in and around the door threshold between the garage and the ground floor. Not sure where it's coming from. We'd like to have someone look at it and give an estimate please.

We need some help with basement. Water and dirt are getting in and there is some black mold as a result. We need it repaired and possibly refinished after repair depending on cost. Looking to start in about 6 weeks. We have a house going on the market this week and the sale of the house will produce funds to pay for basement. Want to begin to get estimates asap

We are looking to finish our walkout basement, and possibly add a 1/2 bathroom. The approximate size would be between 600 - 700 sq. ft.

We've been in our house for about 14 months. We started having some electrical issues a couple of weeks ago (security system communication panels alerted us that AC power was cut off and they were switching to battery). We went down into the basement to investigate and discovered some extensive water damage near the breaker box. I've had two electricians come look at it. Both observed that water has been coming in through the conduit bringing the AC power in from outside. One of the two, though, thought it odd that the drywall under the breaker box looks to have been fairly soaked at one point but the bottom of the breaker box is not rusted. That made him think that that the hole in the wall through which the conduit runs may not be sealed well, created a separate leak that also needs to be addressed. He recommended contacting a basement waterproofing specialist to fix that in parallel to the work that an electrician will do. The water damage overall, though, does look to be pretty well localized to near the breaker box only.
